Sign up, and skip the lift lines as part of your customized program. We contract with certified and professional instructord to help you (or your kids) in your language, ability and style. Ski School and Lessons
Private or Group lessons? You choose... Need some new tips? Want to learn how to ski and make it fun? Ski schools offers Full day, half day, group or private lessons that suit your needs. Instructors focus on making it fun and safe so you are a pro in no time. Age has nothing to do with it. If you want to learn, we'll teach you.
- Available at all resort locations including Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.

- Disciplines: Skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, and park-and-pipe lessons available
- Ability Level: All ability levels welcome
- Hours: Full Day: 9 am to 3 pm; Half Day: 9 am to 12 pm or 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Many times the most efficient way for skiers and Snowboarders to learn is through private lessons. The best part is you can coordinate the ski school lesson with no more than six others. It is a great way for everyone to have an enjoyable experience and learn the most efficient and quickest new tricks.

KIDS GROUP LESSONS (AGES 2-17)
Instructors allow skiing and snowboarding lessons to be fun. Teachers focus on teaching the core skills that will help each child maximize his/her own talents at their own pace. From daily to several week lessons, your kid will expand horizons under the care and instruction of an expert instructor.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SKI OR SNOWBOARDING LESSONS - What to bring
Check-in the night before your lesson begins: Make sure to pick-up your tickets the night before and/or get your boots and ski's fitted, and sign liability waivers. Doors are open anytime from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Check-in the day your lesson begins: If you have all of your ski rental equipment including skis, boots, poles and helmut, we ask guests to please check in 30 minutes before a lesson begins. If you need to be fitted for equipment, please check in at least 1-hour before lesson start time.
GETTING READY FOR YOUR LESSON
Other things that make for a smart start include:
- Get enough sleep the night before your lesson
- Eat a light breakfast
- Drink a lot of water in the morning
- Apply sunscreen in the morning to any exposed skin
